The Christ Church Old Age Home was constructed in 1995. The
building was designed and built by the late Laurie Baker, the
renowned architect. The establishment is a place of comfort and
solace for the aged and the infirm, especially those who are
forced to live alone.
Vacant rooms, if available, are offered to young women students
and civil service aspirants. A few women who stayed there have
won laurels in the civil service examinations. |
