The Diocese of Madhya Kerala has a number of mission fields
beyond Kerala where the Gospel is being proclaimed. The
missionaries are surviving in very difficult conditions. A
number of them have no proper residence. The place of worship is
often a thatched shed that leaks, with a mud floor plastered
with cowdung. Christ Church sustains missionaries in mission
fields of Parkal and Jangedu in Andhra Pradesh, Charkari in
Uttar Pradesh, and Uttranchal in Uttarakhand. We have helped to
build Churches, mission houses, schools and hospitals in these
areas. Our members have also contributed to the Mysore and
Vellore missions. |
