The members of Christ Church are spread over a large area in all
parts of the city and its suburbs. In order to bring the members
and families of a particular area closer together in Christian
Fellowship, Area Prayer Groups were formed. The members meet,
usually once a week, at the houses of each of their Group in
turn. Prayers, singing of hymns and meditation on a Bible
portion, are led by one of our Vicars or one of our senior Achens.
These small gatherings help to forge a stronger bond of
fellowship between our members of a particular area.
Arrangements for the Group’s activities are made by an Area
Prayer Group Convener. At present we have 12 Prayer Groups in
the following areas:

- Kunnukuzhy – Barton Hill – Gowreesapattom
- Medical College – Kannammoola
- Nanthencode
- Palayam – Vazhuthacaud – Thycaud
- Pattom – Plamoodu
- Peroorkada
- Pettah – Manacaud
- Pongumoodu – Sreekariyam
- Poojapura – Karamana
- P.T.P. Nagar –Vattiyoorkavu
